For individuals aged 17 yrs or older (by July 1st) who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills by working with children in a residential camp setting. If under 18 years of age, a Voluntary Disclosure (form will be provided), is required to be signed by the employee and their parent or legal guardian and submitted to Camp Vincent.
If 18 years of age and older, a Police Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check is required before commencement of employment. A current Standard First Aid and CPR-C is also required.
Senior Counsellors play an integral role in creating a magical summer camp experience for Camp Vincent campers. Each Senior Counsellor is responsible for managing and supporting several camper cabins at camp. In addition to supporting the campers in their assigned cabins, they work directly with and supervise every Counsellor working in those cabins.

Working as a camp counsellor affords the opportunity to increase your skills and knowledge with children of a variety of ages, in a variety of settings. Expand your skills in game design and leadership, public speaking, and behavioural management. Interact with and lead children in a variety of activities, both indoor and outdoor. Many people consider working as a camp counsellor to be one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives!
