Campfires

As part of our camp community building, the entire camp will take part in a campfire each evening. The campfire performance is lead by a group of staff members, and occasionally older campers, and will generally involve camp songs, hilarious skits, and a positive-moral story to end the evening. Campers are invited to sing along with staff to see who can be the most ridiculous (it’s a tough competition since our staff are super ridiculous!). At times, campers will help to participate in skits by playing roles, and occasionally entire cabin groups will be asked to lead an entire campfire!
At Camp Vincent, we consider family values and community building to be of the utmost importance when creating a positive camp atmosphere. Group activities like morning flagpole and evening campfire have been kept as all-camp activities for years in order to maintain this sense of family and friendship. Evening campfire is a a wonderful way for campers to all get together and wind down before getting ready for bed.
