Nature

Campers will be given the opportunity to explore the woods in a constructive way and learn about the workings of nature. The program is delivered each week by our camp counselors as one of the activities and has multiple activities ranging from hiking, fire building, and survival skills to environmental care. Our goal is to instill an appreciation and responsibility for the environment while keeping the activities fresh and fun! Our nature sessions will generally occur within our wooded area and incorporate an introductory hike and tour of the woods on their first run. As campers become more familiar with our wooded area, the activities can begin to increase in complexity for true opportunities to appreciate the environment! Whether they are learning about the effects of pollution, the food chain, or survival techniques in the wilderness, campers are sure to learn in a fun, constructive, and creative setting!
