St. Vincent de Paul Camp, est. 1971
A Summer of Fun, a Lifetime of Memories!
About Our Camp
Camp Vincent is a not-for-profit camp located in Bothwell, Ontario. The camp is supported by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the local community. We welcome ALL children from ALL walks of life, regardless social, financial, or faith backgrounds. We strive to encourage, educate and challenge.
Our mission at Camp Vincent is to provide ALL children from ALL walks of life with safe, exhilarating, and memorable experiences which will last a lifetime, regardless of ability, identity, belief, or financial backgrounds. Our quality outdoor activities, guided by a creative, hard working and caring staff, will result in a program designed to meet the needs of our campers. Above all, we strive to encourage, educate, and challenge to allow children to grow in body, mind, and spirit.
We believe that every child, regardless of faith, social, or financial background should have the opportunity to experience all of the benefits summer camp has to offer.
Summer camp provides kids and staff with the opportunity to build stronger social networks, improve attitudes toward physical activity, develop and deepen emotional intelligence and awareness, and foster independence and self-confidence. Campers are given the opportunity to grow in a safe, positive, constructive environment!
Camp is an on-going experience that doesn’t end when the season ends. It is a pillar for kids and staff that guides them in their future by teaching them in ways beyond what school and everyday life can. We lay the groundwork for your future employees, caregivers, service workers, teachers, scientists, parents, and community leaders. Camp nurtures kids. Camp develops kids. Camp prepares kids.
Camp Vincent was established by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in 1971, approximately 10 km east of Thamesville, Ontario.
